My 13 yo daughter loves it. It's super cozy and soft, and doesn't shed. I washed it once (inside out on gentler cycle) and it washed well without loosing any of its color or texture. As a side note, my miniature schnauzer also absolutely loves it, but thankfully my daughter doesn't mind that the dog loves to spend her days on her bed.
